Hello, I am Cynthia (Cindy) Gregory. Most of my work history was working for Dollar General in many cities in Virginia. I was assistant manager for 25 years and then manager for 3 years. Then I took a year off and went to work at Vertex working on computer boards for 3 years. Now I am doing what I have wanted to do since high school, working with children. Working with children brings so many blessings. The children smile, laugh, hug and give love in so many ways. It just makes your day better. There are days when you give the smile, love, hug to make their day special.

Hi there. I’m excited to introduce myself as part of the Noah’s Ark Learning Center teaching staff. My name is Vicki Hicks and I’ve been working at NALC since 2009. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Southern Indiana, and have received continuing education and training including CPR/First Aid/AED and have MAT Certification. I am the Hippo Class teacher and work with children from ages 2-4. Every year is a new adventure of learning and exploring with my awesome students! I am so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful school and have the opportunity to do what I love!
Hi I am Ashley Ragland and welcome to our wonderful school. I joined Noah’s Ark staff in the fall of 2008 teaching varying ages between 2 and 4. I have a diploma in Early Childhood Education from Stratford Career Institute. I am also MAT and CPR certified and completed training in the “123 Read” program.
God and my family are what bring me happiness. I love downtime with my family and weekends being spontaneous. During my free time I enjoy thrift shopping, painting and vacationing in the mountains. I am passionate about working with young learners to reach their potentials through play and discovery. Helping each child progress in all areas of their development; language, motor, social and academic is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I look forward to working together with you as partners in your child’s growth and development.

My name is Mary Beth Reed. I live in Staunton, VA with my husband and 2 children (son and daughter). I have been teaching preschool for 17 years and I love my job! 2 of my favorite things are horses and Perks Place.
I am Nicole M. Baucom and I’ve been here since August 2014. I am married with 4 children, 3 adult children and 1 under 18. All of them have played many sports. My favorite color is purple and I love coffee from Perks Place. I love children and helping them learn.
Hi, I’m Ms. Jody. I have worked at the preschool since 2015. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a concentration in Social Work from East Stroudsburg University. I am originally from Pennsylvania and moved here with my family in 2009. I live in Augusta County with my husband and our three children. I love spending time at the beach with my family, reading and taking care of my plants.
Hi I am Ms. Jenny and I have been working at the preschool since 2019 but have worked with children (babysitting and coaching) for over half of my life. I have a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Mountain State University but fell in love with teaching. I am originally from West Virginia and moved to the area in 2014. I have two beautiful children with my husband of 11 years. I have many interests and hobbies such as plants, concerts, and sports.

Hi! I am Ms. Mackenzie and I have been at the preschool since the summer of 2022. I work in PreK and absolutely love getting to spend my afternoons with the kids! I currently attend Mary Baldwin University where I am majoring in elementary education
I am Ms. Lillian. I graduated from Central Augusta High School, Staunton, VA. I am also a graduate from Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Connecticut with an Associates Degree in Business Administration/Management. I lived in Connecticut for over 50 years and recently relocated back to Virginia. While in Connecticut, I worked at Health Net, Inc, as an Account Service Coordinator. My hobbies are Crocheting, word search puzzles, and piano. I have been with the center since September 2022, and really enjoy working with the little ones.
